IP address
An IP address is a unique series of numbers that represents a website or computer on the internet. ADSL users have a fixed IP address, users of an analogue or ISDN modem are assigned a specific number from the IP address file that a provider has at their disposal each time they call in.
Consumer data
Every server (www, ftp, smtp, pop3, news and chat servers) that you log in to, records usage data, such as connection type, phone number (this is not logged if you have a secret number), the IP the address of the visitor, the login and logout time (session duration) and the amount of information that is sent. L’omore uses this data for finding and resolving connection problems, planning network capacity, configuring the platform and preventing misuse.
